1. Overview & Core Privacy Commitment

This Mobile App Privacy Policy applies specifically to mobile applications published by RenderPop, including "RenderPop: Eye Color" on Google Play. We believe your personal photos and facial features belong solely to you.

The App is engineered from the ground up as a 100% on-device utility. We do not require account registration, do not collect personal identifiers, do not serve advertisements, do not integrate third-party tracking or analytics SDKs, and never upload your photos or facial landmarks to remote servers.

2. Facial Data & On-Device Landmarks Processing

To provide the eye color changing functionality, the App processes images that may contain human faces and eyes. In compliance with Google Play User Data policies regarding Facial Data and Biometric Information, we disclose the following:

• What Facial Data is Processed: When you select a photo, the App locally executes the Google MediaPipe Face Landmarker computer vision model to detect facial landmark coordinates (specifically contours of the eyelids, pupils, and irises).
• Purpose of Processing: Landmark detection is used exclusively for the real-time geometric alignment and color transformation of iris regions directly on your screen.
• Where Processing Occurs: 100% On-Device. All face mesh and landmark coordinate calculations are performed solely within your device's local volatile memory (RAM). Neither your photos nor the computed facial landmarks are ever transmitted to RenderPop servers or any third-party infrastructure.
• No Identity Recognition: The App does NOT perform facial recognition, does NOT generate unique biometric templates or prints, and CANNOT be used to identify any individual.
• Retention & Deletion: Facial landmark coordinates exist only temporarily in volatile memory while an image is being processed. They are immediately purged from memory as soon as you finish editing, choose a new photo, or exit the App. No facial data is ever written to persistent storage or retained.
• Third-Party Sharing: Because facial data is never transmitted off your device, it is NEVER shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.

3. Photos & Device Storage Access

The App respects modern Android scoped storage and media access guidelines:

• Photo Selection: The App uses the standard system Photo Picker. The App only receives temporary access to the specific photo that you explicitly pick for editing. The App never requests broad or persistent storage scanning permissions (such as READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or READ_MEDIA_IMAGES).
• Saving Edited Photos: When you tap 'Save Photo', the App saves the resulting image to your device's media gallery (Pictures/RenderPop) using the standard Android MediaStore API. The App does not access, read, or modify any other media on your device.

4. No Third-Party Analytics, Advertising, or Tracking

The App does NOT incorporate any third-party advertising networks, marketing trackers, or behavior profiling tools (such as Google Firebase Analytics, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Facebook SDK, or AdMob).

We do not collect device identifiers (such as IMEI, Android ID, or Advertising ID), IP addresses, geolocation data, or personal contacts.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is designed as a neutral photo editing utility suitable for general audiences. Because the App operates entirely on-device and collects zero personal data, it does not knowingly collect, store, or process any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

6. Data Security & Your Rights

Because all image manipulation and landmark processing occur strictly within the local sandbox of your mobile operating system, your photos remain protected under your device's native security model. Since we collect and store no personal data on external servers, there is no server-side user data to access, rectify, export, or delete.

You retain complete control of your photos and can delete edited images from your device's gallery or uninstall the App at any time.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Mobile App Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements or future feature updates. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
